Five teenagers collapses at the Federal High Court, Abuja

On Friday, after the court arraignment started at the Federal High Court in Abuja ,five malnourished teenagers collapsed.

Reports have it that the total of one hundred and twenty and five(125) people were charged with terrorism by the Nigeria Police Force over the alleged claims of involving in the #EndBadGovernance protest in Kano State.

The defendants in the legal case were divided into two batches of 76 and 49 for arraignment before Justice Obiora Egwuatu.

Immediately the first batch was called , some of the defendants fell down while mounting the dock. The judge called for the health officials from the court clinic to the teenagers that collapsed.

Defense lawyer Marshall Abubakar, stated that the teenagers collapsed due to hunger and health condition.

He said, “All these young children are sick and hungry. They have been kept in police custody for weeks without food and proper medical care. They are sick and need proper attention. That is the cause of these unfortunate developments.”
