The management of the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Asaba has received praise for being one of the early beneficiaries of Seyi Tinubu’s health interventions aimed at enhancing tertiary hospitals.
Dr. Osiatoma Victor Azubike, the medical director of the facility, expressed his pleasure regarding the timely nature of this intervention, especially given the high number of indigent patients the hospital serves regularly.
He emphasized that the donated medications and medical supplies would significantly alleviate the financial burden of care on these patients.
Dr. Benson Ayodele Cole, the National Coordinator of the project, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome the initiative received from the hospital’s management.
He encouraged them to utilize the drugs responsibly and ensure that indigent patients fully benefit from the support provided.
Additionally, Dr. Joseph Ajanwenyi, a recipient of the Seyi Tinubu residency training scholarship, thanked Mr. Tinubu for his generosity and committed to using the funds appropriately for their intended purpose.
Pharm. Ojeje Amin Onimisi, who represented Seyi Tinubu, commended the project’s coordinating team.
However, he urged them to enhance their efficiency to ensure that all registered hospitals can receive assistance within the designated timeframe.
