Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has written a message to her deceased mother after meeting with Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.
Earlier, it was reported that Nkechi attended the birthday party of the Governor’s son, B-Red, who is also singer Davido’s cousin.
During her conversation with the Governor, he surprised Nkechi by revealing that he knows about her past controversial lifestyle.
However, Nkechi assured him that she has changed and no longer seeks trouble.
She expressed her love for her late mother on her Instagram story, wondering if she was watching their conversation with the Governor.
“Hey, Mummy, NBS was chilling with the Governor of Osun State today. I just thought to tell you. Did you see us from heaven? Love you forever, Mummy”.
In a different post, Nkechi shared that what she admires about the Adelekes is their modesty.
“You fit make Governor laugh? I no be comedian oo. I am just one very happy girl with so much positive vibes. And one thing I respect the Adelekes for is their humility”.
Remember that Nkechi Blessing’s mother passed away just five days before her birthday in 2021.
When announcing her mother’s death, Blessing wrote a heartfelt tribute in which she shared how she had worked tirelessly to ensure her mother never had to beg for food.
Nkechi said that if doctors had asked for money to keep her mother alive, she would have pleaded with the world for help.
Nkechi Blessing recounted the details of her mother’s death and expressed her concern about facing the world without her.
She expressed deep sadness that her mother never got to see the house she had planned to gift her.
In September 2022, Nkechi honored her mother’s memory by distributing food and water to those in need on the streets.
Shortly after, she controversially celebrated her mother’s birthday, even though she had passed away.
She hosted a small party for a few friends and gave out a dildo as a souvenir.
In December, Nkechi tearfully visited her mother’s gravesite in Ibadan.
She shared that she talked to her mother about her new partner, Xxssive, her son’s academic achievements, her own recent accomplishments, and more.
Nkechi added that she could sense her mother’s voice encouraging her to stay strong and brave.
