It’s time to end bad Government in Nigeria.
I stand for a new Nigeria.
Better and greater.
Aluta.
Stand for this great country, NIGERIA, and I join hands with the great citizens of our dear country to push for the betterment of our land
I AM NIGERIAN. I AM NOT A SLAVE.
Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love, strength, and faith
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity.
Oh God of creation, direct our noble cause
Guide our leader’s right
Help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty, to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where peace and justice shall reign”.
Nollywood actor Lege Miami and actress Tonto Dikeh have expressed caution regarding the planned protest in Nigeria on August 1st.
Lege Miami urged Lagos youths to refrain from protesting, giving President Bola Tinubu time to address the country’s challenges, including high costs of living.
He also warned that some individuals might exploit the protest to cause chaos. Tonto Dikeh, in an open letter, empathized with Nigerians’ frustrations but suggested an alternative approach, forming a representative group to engage in dialogue with the President, rather than protesting. Both celebrities advocated for a more constructive and peaceful approach to addressing the country’s issues.
