Nollywood actress Yewande Adekola has expressed her anger towards a driver she believes was under the influence of drugs.
She accused him of hitting her car and fleeing the scene. Yewande shared the details of the incident on her Instagram page, explaining that it occurred at Lekki County around 8pm on Sunday.
She was filming when a young man, driving in the opposite direction, unexpectedly collided with her car.
Yewande was shocked by the driver’s actions and screamed, causing others nearby to also react.
However, the driver appeared oblivious to his surroundings due to his intoxication and hit her car a second time.
Despite the chaos he caused, he quickly drove away as if nothing had happened and repeated the same behavior at another location.
“Good morning guys, something happened to me last night and I think I want to talk about it. I was filming yesterday night around 8pm at Lekki County and on that road, I was on my lane and a young man from another side of the lane suddenly ran into me with his car. When he hit me with the car, I was shocked because he was on the other side of the road heading to the opposite direction and shouldn’t have business hitting me.
As he hit me I screamed and everyone around me shouted. People told him to reverse that he had hit someone and to my amazement he ran into me back. It was then I saw his eyes, he was already high (drunk). This wasn’t alcohol, I believe he was high on drugs. He wasn’t himself, he wasn’t self aware. He just sped off like he did nothing and I told my PA and others to pursue him and the driver had repeated same thing at another axis”.
On her Instagram page, she wrote,
“To that young man that hit me on the lekki county road last night around 8pm, this message is for you. You know yourself and God knows exactly who you are and where you are”.
Last year, the popular Reality TV personality, White Money, became distressed when a truck collided with his car, causing significant damage to the side mirror.
The visibly upset star expressed his frustration and disappointment over the unexpected incident, believing that the truck driver purposely targeted his beloved car. White Money sought help from his followers on social media to fix the car.
Similarly, another reality TV star, Nelson Enwerem, also known as Prince, recently confronted a bus driver in Lagos for almost causing trouble with the owner of a Rolls Royce.
Prince expressed his gratitude to God for avoiding a collision with the luxurious car, as he pondered the consequences.
The furious reality star proceeded to curse the driver for his reckless behavior.
