In 2021, Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo publicly denounced Baba Ijesha’s alleged child abuse, sparking controversy within TAMPAN. They faced backlash from some members, including Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Maimi, who opposed their vocal condemnation of Baba Ijesha.
In response to Jide Kosoko’s directive banning TAMPAN directors from collaborating with her and Iyabo Ojo, Nkechi Blessing ridiculed the decision, saying it aimed to financially strangle influential individuals capable of supporting entire generations. She further criticized TAMPAN, labeling it an association that operates with disregard for law and order, implying its actions were unjust and oppressive.
