He began his acting career in 2000 and gained significant fame for his leading role in Aquaman.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up as an only child, raised by his father, a painter, and his mother, a photographer. He has Hawaiian roots from his father’s side and European ancestry from his mother’s side.
Momoa completed his elementary and high school education in Hawaii and initially pursued a degree in Marine Biology in college before transitioning into modeling, which garnered him significant attention.
CAREER
He started his career as a model and was discovered by several prominent designers at the age of 19. In 1999, he launched his acting career by landing the role of Jason Ioane in the series “Baywatch Hawaii.”
Prior to this, he worked part-time at a surf shop. In the early 2000s, he appeared in other shows such as “North Shore” and the film “Johnson Family Vacation.”
In 2005, Momoa starred in the transformative series “Stargate Atlantis,” where he remained until 2009.

The couple actually tied the knot in October 2017 and welcomed two children: Lola Lolani, born in July 2007, and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, born in 2008.
However, the couple announced their separation in January 2022, ending their relationship in 2022.
