EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Hailing from Surulere in Lagos State, Folajimi is the youngest of three siblings.
His educational journey began at Nazareth Nursery and Primary School in Lagos, followed by secondary education at Igbobi College Yaba.
He furthered his studies by obtaining diplomas in Data Processing and Mathematics from Olabisi Onabanjo University and the University of Lagos, respectively.
He then earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University.
CAREER
Folajimi’s foray into the entertainment industry began at a young age when he made his television debut at just seven years old on a football show segment.
However, it was in 2003 that he officially launched his career as a sports presenter on The Best of Football and Lucozade Boost Sports Reel, mentored by Godwin Dudu Orumen.
In 2009, he joined Megalectrics Limited, the parent company of well-known radio stations such as The Beat 99.9FM and Classic FM 97.3.
He assumed the position of Head of Sports for all three stations, demonstrating his expertise and enthusiasm for sports broadcasting.
Throughout his career, Folajimi has reported on major events, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, where he was recognized as the Best Sports Radio Presenter.
