Joyce Kalu, who hails from Ohafia, Abia State in Southeastern Nigeria, was born on September 25, 1970. She finished her elementary and high school education in Abia State, Nigeria. She pursued higher education at Lagos State University (LASU) and earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Furthermore, Kalu also acquired a diploma in Computer Science.

 CAREER

Joyce Kalu, a Nigerian actress, gained fame following her performance in the Nollywood movie “Take me Home” in 2005. Apart from her acting career, she is also engaged in various business endeavors. In 2018, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film “Bound” alongside Rita Dominic and Enyinna Nwigwe.

 

Kalu was bestowed with the prestigious title of Apunawu I of Ohafia Community, Abia State. Additionally, she was acknowledged as the Most Influential Actress of the Year at the Niger Delta Icon and Dynamic Awards in 2020.
