The former husband of Judy Austin, Emmanuel Obasi, is seeking assistance from Nigerians after claiming he hasn’t seen his children with her in over a decade.
In a viral video, Judy Austin’s ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, made a heartfelt appeal to Nigerians for help in regaining custody of their children, whom he claims to have not seen for over a decade.
He alleges that Judy has deliberately kept the children away from him, knowing how much he loves them, and has instead focused on her new family with Yul Edochie.
He expressed concern for the children’s welfare and upbringing, and his desire to reconnect with them, imploring Nigerians to support his quest for custody.
“Judy is frustrating me with these children because she knows I love them. A father like me, how will I be looking at myself? I have children of, 16 years old and 14 years old, and I don’t have access to them.
This year will make it ten years since I last sighted my children. How will I cope? Anytime I wake up with that mindset, I lose concentration. It’s becoming unbearable now. She is not with them; I am not with them. The upbringing of these children matters to me”.
Emmanuel Obasi’s custody battle with Judy Austin is an ongoing issue, with previous attempts in 2022.
He alleged that Judy had an affair with Yul Edochie in 2012, while still married to him, and later left their home with their children after he refused to buy her a house in Enugu.
Judy’s relationship with Yul led to his divorce from May Edochie, who filed for N100 million and a restraining order, granting her full custody of their children.
Judy claimed she met Yul after her first marriage ended in 2013 and denied infidelity allegations. She and Yul have since started a new family, having two sons, Star and Pete.
