Kaduna Governor approves the new minimum wage

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has approved the minimum wage of N72,000 for state workers.

A statement released by governor’s chief press secretary, Ibraheem Musa stated that the new minimum wage payment will commence from November 2024.

Musa stated that the commencement of the new minimum wage was part of the governor’s commitment to the people of Kaduna State.

He explained that the approval of the minimum wage is to aid the poor people and communities.

He noted that the governor is willing to advance the workers’ right and welfare in the state. He further noted that the governor have implemented various policies to aid in the upliftment of the state.
