The leader of the United Kingdom’s Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, has refused retract her words concerning Nigeria while insisting that she is speaking the truth about her homeland.
This remark followed the recent response of Nigeria’s Vice-President Kashim Shettima condemning her for country as a “socialist nation brimming with thieving politicians and insecurity.”
In a statement issued by her spokesperson, Kemi Badenoch is majorly focused on tackling Nigeria problems with honesty and transparency.
The spokesperson said, “Kemi is not interested in doing Nigeria’s PR; she is the leader of the opposition in the UK.
“She tells the truth. She tells it like it is. She’s not going to couch her words, and she stands by what she says.”
Kemi Badenoch, born Olukemi Adegoke has expressed disapproval towards the leaders in the country and questioned their policies and actions .
Her name changed immediately she got married to her Scottish husband, Hamish Badenoch.
