Krisdayanti, also known as KD, is a renowned singer and actress from Indonesia.

She was born on March 24, 1975, in Batu, Indonesia, and was raised alongside her two siblings, Yuni Shara and Kartika Sari.

Her parents, Rachma Widadiningsih and Trenggono, have an unknown ethnic background. Krisdayanti is a follower of the Islamic faith.

Although her educational background may not be widely known in the media, she has managed to attain immense success and acclaim as both a singer and actress.

CAREER

Krisdayanti, a famous Indonesian singer, rose to fame after participating in the 1992 Asia Bagus talent show.

Her victory at the Asia Bagus Film Festival in Japan led to her first album recording in Singapore.

She was also bestowed with the title “The Best of Asia Bagus” in 1997 due to her success in the competition.

Throughout her career, Krisdayanti has received numerous accolades, including the Best Indonesian Album at the 1999 Anugerah Industri Muzik, Most Wanted Female Artist and Most Wanted Indonesian Video at MTV Southeast Asia, Best Pop Album at the 1997 Anugerah Musik Indonesia, and Most Favorite Female at the 2002 MTV Indonesia Awards.

However, despite her achievements in the music industry, Krisdayanti has faced criticism for her involvement in a pyramid scheme and her controversial marriage to Indonesian businessman Raul Lemos.

PERSONAL LIFE

Krisdayanti, a popular singer from Indonesia, tied the knot with Anang Hermansyah in 1996.

Together, they were blessed with a son named Azriel Hermansyah and a daughter named Aurelie Hermansyah.

Despite various rumors linking her to other men, Krisdayanti vehemently denied all of them and insisted that her relationship with her husband was strong.

However, their marriage eventually came to an end in mid-August 2009, at Yanti’s request.

Following the divorce, she entered into a relationship with Raul Lemos, a businessman hailing from East Timor, and the couple exchanged vows on March 20, 2011.

Subsequently, Krisdayanti gave birth to another daughter, Arianna Amora Lemos, and initially decided to retire from the entertainment industry to embrace the role of a housewife in East Timor.

However, she later retracted her statement and expressed her desire to continue singing until she reaches old age.
