Lola Idije refutes allegations that Biodun Okeowo stole her son-in-law, dismissing rumors of a family rift.
It was reported that Biodun Okeowo denied snatching Lola Idije’s son-in-law, stating her husband has no connection to Lola’s daughters, and instead, challenges colleague Tosin to clarify the false report, accusing Tosin of fueling the rumor through subtle jabs.
Lola Idije has now cleared the air on Instagram, debunking rumors that Biodun Okeowo snatched her son-in-law, revealing she attended Biodun’s wedding, which contradicts the allegations, and putting the controversy to rest.
Lola Idije further clarified that she introduced Biodun’s husband to her over the phone, and none of her daughters have a personal relationship with him, debunking the rumor of Biodun snatching him from her daughter.
“I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally. Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything”.
Biodun Okeowo had made headlines earlier this year, first with her engagement announcement in March, followed by her lavish traditional wedding in July, which dominated online discussions for weeks.
Biodun Okeowo had previously faced romance rumors with Cute Abiola, leading to his wife releasing incriminating chats, including Okeowo’s inquiry about Abiola’s intimate health, which he allegedly shared with friends.
Addressing the issue, Biodun Okeowo, holding the Bible, emotionally addressed false rumors of an affair with Cute Abiola, revealing she suffered bullying and trolls. Defending herself, she cursed her accusers and explained she initially stayed silent at her family’s request, but felt compelled to speak out against persistent online harassment.
