Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has praised the government of Ogun State during his visit to the Atan-Lusada-Agabara road project.
Portable, who recently returned from the United States, had previously slammed Governor Dapo Abiodun after a dangerous road in Sango-Ota almost caused an accident involving his Range Rover.
The singer boldly urged the governor to step down if he couldn’t fix the poor road conditions, suggesting that Yayi would be a better replacement.
Portable later claimed to have received N2 million as compensation for his remarks, without explicitly mentioning the governor’s name.
He stated that he received compensation from ‘Oga’, which many assumed referred to the governor.
Portable also asserted that the governor had promised to address all the bad roads in the state.
To verify the governor’s commitment, Portable visited the Atan-Lusada-Agabara road project and recorded a video expressing his appreciation for the government’s efforts.
