Mr Funny, also known as Oga Sabinus, was born on January 30, 1995, to Mr. and Mrs. Ejekiru.
His given name is Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekiru, with Chukwuemeka translating to “God Has Done So Much” in English.
He was born into a family that practiced Christianity and his parents instilled in him the teachings and values of the religion from a young age.
He comes from the South-South region of Nigeria and specifically from the city of Port Harcourt. He is a native of Rivers State.

From 2015 to 2021, he consistently wrote comedy scripts and uploaded skits, gradually becoming one of the top social media comedians in Port Harcourt.
