Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has refuted claims that he has been in a relationship with media personality Moet Abebe for the past 12 years.
Last week, it was reported by Naija traffic that Abebe had shocked many by revealing that she and the rapper have been dating for over a decade.
However, in an interview with Almera Danjuma on The DateBizz, Ice Prince denied being in any relationship, explaining that he is not in the right state of mind.
He admitted that although he is a romantic and falls deeply in love, he has struggled to find love.
The rapper acknowledged that he is currently not emotionally available for a relationship and does not want to burden or distress any woman.
He also said that his album has been taking up a lot of his time and that relationships can be financially demanding.
“I am a lover boy and I fall in love so deep. But recently, it has been difficult for me to find love, not because I don’t want to, but I am at a different place in my life. You know I just released my album, and I don’t want to blame this on work but my mind hasn’t been in the right place for a relationship. And I don’t want a girl to be with me and be crying.
I need time to put things together, especially my music and finances. I am not in a place to have a relationship yet, because that is also a financial burden”.
In response to his statement, many observed that Most Abebe was simply being sarcastic and having fun.

Ice Prince had previously expressed his fear of entering into new romantic relationships because of the negative experiences he had with women in the past.
He had a failed relationship with singer Eva Alordiah, who was his first girlfriend when he moved to Lagos in 2009.
After that, he dated Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, but they broke up due to their busy schedules.
He also had a brief relationship with fashion designer Yvonne Nwosu.
In 2014, Ice Prince was involved with a French-Ghanaian lady named Maima, but they eventually broke up after rumors surfaced about Maima seeing other men.
