The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has started registration for 3,154 unemployed graduates across the 27 LGA of Borno State.
Mohammed Gaji Galadima, the NDE state coordinator, stated that the initiative is connected to President Tinubu’s agenda to create lucrative jobs for the people to ensure a sustainable environment
Mohammed Galadima further noted that training encompasses of so many skills. After the training, the participants will be given a start-up capital, equipment and other things to help them put what they have learnt into practice.
He said, “I believe this initiative will significantly alleviate the hardships faced by unskilled and unemployed individuals impacted by the recent flooding that devastated farmlands and businesses in Borno State.”
He noted how the participants will be registered in credit-granting institutions to aid in the collection of loan for their enterprise. The interested participants are to register online through the NDE website or contact the Borno NDE office before the the deadline of October 28,2024.
