The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has criticized Rabiu Kwankwaso for visiting Abia State Governor Alex Otti.
It was on November 9, that Kwankwaso stated that he was there to offer his condolences on the passing of the first governor of old Abia state, Ogbonnaya Onu.
Following the visit, there were allegations that it was all about political collaboration between Rabiu Kwankwaso and the Governor Alex Otti.
In the meeting held at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos, on Sunday, November 10, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the NNPP condemned the visit.
Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Emeruwa, members of the Kwankwasiyya movement and other aides were present in the meeting.
The party described the Kwankwaso’s visit as a deceptive move which is connected to the recent ruling of Abia state high court.
NNPP’s National Publicity Secretary, Abdulrasalam Abdulrazaq stated that Kwankwaso is trying to take over the party through manipulation for personal gain.
