Nigerian hip-hop artist Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, became emotional online as he commemorated his late mother, Morayo Balogun’s birthday on July 4th, 2024.
Wizkid shared his feelings about celebrating his mother’s birthday without her presence on his social media page.
He expressed how much he misses his mother every day and how his life has felt empty since her passing in 2023.
Wizkid wished that his mother would continue to watch over him and his family.
He revealed that he is currently heartbroken and cherishes the memories of his mother’s smile, laughter, hugs, and kisses.
The singer acknowledged that things will never be the same for him.
