The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the license of Capital City University, Kano to function fully as a recognized institution.
This development followed after the institution complied with the operational guidelines.
Professor Yusuf B. Daraja, vice chancellor of the university stated that this development is marked as a major milestone in acquiring excellence and growth in the university.
He further noted that the National Universities Commission (NUC) have assessed the institution and how it complied with the regulatory standards of the academic programmes, governance, and infrastructure.
He added, “With this development, Capital City University is poised to further its mission of delivering innovative and industry-relevant academic programmes designed to meet the needs of Nigeria’s growing economy.”
