Denola Grey, a well-known media personality, has slammed African parents who force their children into marriages.
During a podcast discussion on Wednesday, Denola expressed his belief that many marriages are akin to “slavery” and that a significant number of individuals in these marriages are unhappy.
He emphasized that when he eventually decides to get married, he will choose a partner whom he genuinely loves, rather than one he simply tolerates.
‘’When will you marry? When will you fix your marriage? How about that? I don’t know why they are so obsessed with marriage because a lot of them are not in happy marriages, especially like the older generation.
“I’m like so you want me to just meet someone, marry them and just be managing them. Like, I hate slavery,” he said.
