Omoni Oboli breaks down in tears as she receives a brand new car at movie premiere

Omoni Oboli was overcome with emotion, tears streaming down her face, as she was surprised with a brand-new car during the premiere of her latest film.

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli made a triumphant return to cinema with the highly anticipated release of her latest film, “The Uprising”, which premiered to great fanfare on Sunday night.

On Instagram, Omoni Oboli, the box office queen, shared an emotional video of receiving a surprise car gift from her partners, expressing that it represents more than just a vehicle.

Omoni Oboli went on to pour out her gratitude to GAC Motors in a heartfelt Instagram post, expressing her deep appreciation for their support and belief in her creative vision as a storyteller and filmmaker, saying their gift of a brand-new car validates her impact in Nollywood and fuels her passion to continue telling meaningful stories.

I’m grateful beyond words!

A heartfelt thank you to @gacmotorngr @jubriloflagos for this incredible gift. @loludesalu my love. Thank you.

As a storyteller, dreamer, and creator in this industry, it means so much to have partners who believe in my vision.

This is more than just a car—it’s a symbol of the growth, passion, and impact we’re shaping in Nollywood

Here’s to more miles, more magic, and more greatness!”.

Nollywood celebrities, including May Edochie, Funke Akindele, Ayo Makun, Mercy Aigbe, Ini Edo, Alex Ekubo, and Chinedu Ikedieze, among others, flooded Omoni Oboli’s comment section with congratulatory messages and well-wishes, rejoicing with her over the surprise car gift and celebrating her success.

Leading up to her film’s premiere, Omoni Oboli admitted to feeling nervous and anxious, revealing that it had been a five-year hiatus since her last cinematic release, and appealed to her fans and colleagues for support as she made her return to the big screen.

Omoni Oboli recently celebrated a milestone achievement as her 2019 film, “Last Year Single”, resurfaced and dominated Netflix in Nigeria, proudly announcing that it had claimed the top spot as the number-one show on the platform, despite being released years earlier.

Ruth Kadiri and Omoni Oboli had engaged in a subtle social media feud, exchanging indirect blows on Instagram. Kadiri issued a warning to an unnamed colleague, accusing them of poaching her artists and artificially inflating YouTube views, harming her protĂ©gĂ©s’ ratings. Omoni Oboli went ahead to respond with a cryptic post, sharing a prayer for her enemies, fueling speculation that the two were directed at each other.

Furthermore, Omoni Oboli shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, emphasizing the power of love, and reminding her followers that whether online or offline, all actions should be guided by love.
