In the post, she confidently reasserted her multifaceted identity as a strong woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and accomplished filmmaker, proudly declaring that her latest movie, “The Uprising”, is undoubtedly the best to come out of Nigeria.

Omoni Oboli revealed that the highlight of her movie’s success is the overwhelmingly positive feedback, particularly from her sons, who are tough critics with refined cinematic tastes, and whose approval has brought her immense joy.

The thing that has given me the most joy about the release of THE UPRISING is that we have no mid-reviews! At this point, if you haven’t gone out to watch it in Nigeria, Canada, the UK, or Francophone Africa, you are missing the most impactful and intriguing movie you’ll see this year. Yes, I said it!

My goodness! My sons couldn’t stop talking when we got home! They said they couldn’t even compare it to other Nollywood movies, so they were comparing it to Hollywood!

My sons were brought up watching movies, and their taste in movies is very high, but for over 2 hours, they dissected THE UPRISING and gave it 10/10. My joy is complete! I am satisfied!
