There appears to be harmony among the wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, as his third wife, Olori Tobi, has publicly shown affection and support for her co-wife, Olori Ashley.
The Ooni of Ife and his fourth wife, Queen Ashley, have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
The Ooni expressed his gratitude to God on Instagram, while Queen Ashley shared her testimony of overcoming challenges and losses, including the death of twins last year.
In a show of unity and support, Olori Tobi, the Ooni’s third wife, congratulated the new parents in the comment section, writing “Congratulations to us. May God’s blessing be upon us” in Yoruba.

In March, the Ooni of Ife and his third wife, Olori Tobi Phillips, a former beauty queen, announced the arrival of their twins, a boy and a girl.
The Ooni expressed his thanks to God for the blessing. Olori Tobi also shared photos from her baby shower and expressed her gratitude to God, stating that He had given her double blessings after a period of challenges, implying that the twins were a reward for her troubles.
The Ooni of Ife, who has six wives, recently celebrated his 48th birthday and seventh coronation anniversary.
During this occasion, he addressed the reason behind his multiple marriages, stating that he initially intended to make some changes but was unable to do so due to the traditional customs and heritage of Ile Ife, which necessitated his marriage to Olori Mariam Anako and his other wives.
