Ossai Ovie Success took to his Instagram page to share the photos and stated that they are disrespectful to Igbo culture.
He emphasized that Davido showed disrespect to Igbo culture by wearing Yoruba attire while marrying an Igbo woman.
Ossai Ovie Success believes that it is important to respect and honor each other’s traditions, especially during special occasions like weddings.
“Davido disrespected the Igbo Culture with his Yoruba dressing while getting married to an Igbo Girl. Davido’s pre-wedding photos is an insult to Igbo Culture .
This is an error because as a man , when you are getting married to a woman , it’s paramount you respect her culture by dressing in her culture.
I was surprised to see Davido’s pre-wedding photos where he wore Yoruba attire despite marrying an Igbo woman, Chioma.
As someone who values cultural heritage, I believe it’s important to respect and honor each other’s traditions, especially on special occasions like weddings.
In many African cultures, dressing in the bride’s cultural attire is a sign of respect and unity”.
Ossai Success has gained attention for consistently slamming celebrities for their wedding photos.
Last month, Ossai blast Paul Okoye for showing disrespect to his in-laws during his traditional wedding.
Ossai believed that the photo of Paul wearing a cap while an elder prayed for him and his wife was disrespectful.
He said that the singer should have removed his cap, highlighting how the younger generation lacks respect due to their wealth.
In February, Ossai also condemned Moses Bliss for posting a photo with his fiancée after she was called to a bar.
Ossai accused the singer of going against Christian values and engaging in fornication.
He emphasized that Moses Bliss, being a gospel singer, should have known better.
Similarly, Ovie slammed Gospel musician Theophilus Sunday for his pre-wedding shoot.
Ovie stated that it is traditionally taboo and morally wrong in Christianity for a man to hold the waist of a woman who is not his wife.
