Paulo Okoye, a talent manager, has intervened in the long-standing feud between Davido and Wizkid.
Day’s back, Wizkid took a swipe at Davido while announcing his new single on Monday night, after an X user suggested he couldn’t promote his music without taking a jab at Davido, prompting a defensive response from Wizkid.
Wizkid responded with a scathing reply, stating he doesn’t engage in feuds with “wack” individuals, labeling Davido as talentless and giving him the derogatory nickname “Frigodo”. Wizkid confidently asserted that no one can tarnish his reputation, now or ever.
Wizkid continued his verbal attack, tweeting that Davido’s well-being and emotions would suffer consequences, after a fan expressed sympathy for Davido. Additionally, Wizkid targeted Tunde Ednut, a friend of Davido’s, with an ableist insult, calling him “disabled”.
Paulo Okoye intervened, urging Wizkid and Davido to end their public feud, cautioning that they will regret their actions in two decades. He expressed disappointment, labeling their behavior as “shameful” and emphasizing the need for maturity and peaceful resolution.

Several people countered Paulo Okoye’s stance, pointing out that Wizkid has consistently been the aggressor, bullying Davido, and that his intervention should acknowledge and address Wizkid’s role in perpetuating the feud.
