President Bola Tinubu has acknowledged that he is aware of the current hardship that Nigerians are facing.
He further noted that he has implemented measures to alleviate the economic challenges of the country but it will take time. He urged all Nigerians to be patient with him.
He was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, who stated that Tinubu’s administration is working hard to ensure they set the country free.
While speaking at the 70th birthday celebration of Pastor Tunde Bakare, the overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, held in Lagos, President Tinubu recognized that his administration is implementing measures to change the problems but it will take time.
Akume said, “The president acknowledges that times are hard, but at the end of it all, there is always light.
“Solutions to complex problems can never be as instant as coffee, but we are on the right track.”
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, who was also present praised President Tinubu’s administration for their resilience and efforts to bring about change.
Later on, President Tinubu commended Pastor Bakare for being a spiritual leader and advocate for justice.
