Richard Mensah, better known as Richie Mensah, is a celebrated musician and music producer hailing from Ghana.
He established the successful Lynx Entertainment record label in 2008 and released his first album, “All of Me.”

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Growing up in Accra, Ghana, Richie discovered his passion for music early on, performing with his siblings at local events by the age of six.
Although he initially pursued science studies at Achimota Senior High School, his deep-seated love for music ultimately guided him toward a career in the field.
After graduating from Achimota in 2003, he delved into music production while studying computer software engineering at NIIT in Accra.
CAREER
In 2006, Richie launched Lynx Entertainment and became the label’s inaugural artist.
Under his guidance, Lynx Entertainment signed a number of talented musicians, including ASEM, OJ Blaq, Irene Logan, Eazzy, Zigi, and MzVee.
He also collaborated with and produced tracks for prominent Ghanaian artists like Tinny, Okyeame Kwame, VIP, and Praye.
The artists under Lynx Entertainment achieved significant success with hit songs such as “Frema,” “Pigaro,” and “Wengeze,” which contributed to the label winning the “Record Label of the Year” award at the Ghana Music Awards in 2009.
Richie and other artists from Lynx Entertainment teamed up for the song “Africa’s Moment,” which was included in Sony Music’s Hello Afrika album, released in connection with the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The label continued to thrive with the launch of the compilation album “Back 2 Zero” in July 2011, showcasing talented musicians such as Gyedu Blay-Ambolley, Efya, and EL.
Since the debut of his first album “All of Me” in 2008, Richie has emerged as a significant figure in the African music scene.
This album produced popular tracks like “Frema,” “When I Get You,” and “Dirty Dance,” which helped establish Richie as a well-known R&B artist in Ghana.
His achievements as a producer were acknowledged at the Ghana Music Awards, where he received the “Producer of the Year” award, while his record label, Lynx Entertainment, was named “Record Label of the Year.”
Collaborative projects, such as “Woso,” a song he produced and featured on with Okyeame Kwame, also garnered recognition.
Richie maintained his success by winning the “Producer of the Year” award again at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards.
In addition to producing hits and nurturing new talent, Richie serves as a mentor on MTN’s Hitmaker, a popular music talent competition in Ghana.

In January 2017, Richie was named the Director of Music and Industry Standards by the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), where he focused on developing and upholding industry standards in the Ghanaian music scene.
