St. John Phillips, better known as Saint Jhn, is a gifted rapper and singer with Guyanese-American heritage.

He was born on August 26, 1986, his 2019 remix of the popular song “Roses,” produced by DJ Imanbek, earned him significant recognition, propelling him into the top 5 of the US Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in several countries.

This remix served as the lead single for his third album, “While the World Was Burning,” which was released on November 20, 2020.

CAREER

Before adopting the stage name Saint Jhn, he released music under his birth name, Carlos St. John or Carlos Saint John, including the EP “The St. John Portfolio” and the mixtape “In Association” in 2010.

After writing songs for artists such as Rihanna, Usher, and Hoodie Allen, Saint Jhn debuted with the track “1999” in 2016, followed by the breakout hits “Roses” and “Reflex.”

He continued to advance his career, gaining writing credits for various artists and performing at festivals like Rolling Loud and the Voodoo Experience.

His debut album, released in March 2018, amassed millions of streams, establishing his foothold in the music industry.

Over time, his single “Roses” reached number one on global charts, and he showcased his talent at prestigious events like the Billboard Music Awards in 2020.

In 2020, he launched his third studio album, “While the World Was Burning,” which includes collaborations with artists like Lil Uzi Vert, DaBaby, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

He also teamed up with London on Da Track for the single “Stadiums,” hinting at an upcoming collaborative album.
