Famous Nigerian filmmaker, Patrick Doyle, has asserted that the entertainment sector is under the influence of satanic forces.
The actor responded to singer Tems’ recent BET award by saying this. According to Naija traffic, Tems, who is known for her secular music, won the best gospel award at the 2024 BET Awards.
The ceremony took place on Monday at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, United States.
The surprising departure of Tems from the mainstream gospel music scene has shocked and disappointed fellow musicians who now feel betrayed.
In response to the controversies surrounding this situation, Doyle took to Facebook to advise gospel singers to no longer seek approval or validation from the powerful personality in the entertainment industry.
He said, “I feel the pain of mainstream gospel artists who feel slighted that an evidently secular musician, Tems was awarded for best gospel song.
That said, I believe it is about time that committed Christians should stop seeking validation from fickle institutions like the entertainment industry mafia which by the way is in the grip of Satan.”
