Seun Kuti challenges Iyabo Ojo to have him arrested as well

Date:

Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti has challenged Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo to take legal action against him.

This comes after the actress accused Kuti of being involved in supporting the controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan, who has been causing trouble online.

Kuti refuted being labeled as a “confusionist” and instead accused Ojo of being an “oppressor.”

He clarified that his opposition was solely directed towards Ojo’s act of arresting VDM, rather than their ongoing conflict on social media.

On his Instagram account, Kuti said, “I’m not a confusionist. And there was no time I opposed you fighting VeryDarkMan. I only said you shouldn’t be locking people up. If you’re angry I said you shouldn’t use the police to oppress people, please, don’t be angry. Continue to be an oppressor. Use the police to arrest everyone. In fact, come and arrest me too. You guys are the billionaires, the owners of Nigeria, if you get angry, everywhere will explode. So don’t be angry. I apologise for myself and on behalf of VeryDarkMan. Please, don’t flex your power. [Hisses] Nonsense!”

According to Naija Traffic report, VeryDarkMan is currently being held by the police for accusations of engaging in cyberbullying.
