Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, the mother of the well-known Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has expressed her distress about being ignored by her son.
In a video, Elsie, who was evicted from her home in 2022, shared her sadness about the singer’s absence in her life.
Looking ahead to 2024, a video went viral on social media featuring a 70-year-old woman expressing her distress over her declining health, specifically stating her hypertension.
What made her situation even more heartbreaking was the absence of any support from her son.
She went on to explain that Shatta Wale, her son, had been unaware of her whereabouts and had neglected her for over a decade.
Elsie, who revealed that she is currently being taken care of by her sister and niece, Sharita Aheteku, due to her health issues, has requested financial assistance from the public.
“My name is Elsie Evelyn Avemegah. I am the biological mother of Shatta Wale. I haven’t spoken with my son for about 10 or more years now. He doesn’t know where I live and what I eat but now my health is dropping and I’m seriously healed.”
