Nigerian singer and songwriter Waje Iruobe recently shared an important lesson she has learned in 2024 so far.
In a rare family photo posted on her Instagram page, she expressed that when someone decides to make significant changes in their life to improve their well-being, it is almost inevitable that they will upset or disturb someone else.
Waje emphasized that those who are resistant to change do not want others to change either.
She reminded her followers that this is the problem of those individuals, not their own, and they should not blame themselves for their choices but instead take responsibility for their own actions.
Waje also stated that having emotional intelligence is a valuable gift that continues to benefit one’s life.
She explained that her decision to remain silent and ignore certain things for a period of time should not be seen as a sign of weakness.
She concluded her post by stating that gratitude is the most beneficial human emotion.

Waje celebrated her daughter’s 25th birthday in March and expressed her pride and gratitude for her daughter’s accomplishments as a graduate.
