Nigerian skitmaker and content creator Sydney Talker has responded to music star Burna Boy’s praise.
Burna Boy declared Sydney Talker as the most talented and innovative content creator in Nigeria during an Instagram Live session.
Burna Boy said that he had taken a 30-second photo with Sydney and turned it into a viral skit.
He also expressed that if more people were as innovative as Sydney Talker, Nigeria would progress.
Sydney Talker took to his Instagram page to thank Burna Boy for the love and support, and even changed his name to Sydney Burna as a tribute to the singer.
“Call me Sydney Burna!!! God bless you ODOGWU”.
Since gaining fame, Sydney has become well-known in the comedy industry. In early 2020, he bought a brand new car with no previous use.
He excitedly shared this news on his verified Instagram page, receiving many congratulations from his colleagues and fans on the social media platform.
Additionally, in January of the same year, a video circulated online showing Sydney Talker hugging and touching married actress Toyin Abraham, causing controversy.
In response to the criticism, Toyin stated in an interview that she even kissed him and her marital status does not prevent her from doing so.
She explained that she sees Sydney as a son and did not interpret the hug in a romantic way.
Few months ago, Sydney’s friend and colleague Carter Efe caused a stir online when he revealed information about Sydney Talker at his birthday party.
Carter claimed that in the 12 years he has known Sydney, he has never seen him with a woman.
He suggested that Sydney is not interested in women but prefers dark-skinned men, implying that he may be gay.
