Sola Sobowale beams with joy as her daughter finally ties the knot

Veteran actress Sola Sobowale is overjoyed as she celebrates her daughter’s wedding, marking a joyful milestone in their family.

Sola Sobowale recently shared the delightful news that her daughter was engaged to be married, proclaiming that she had found her perfect match. Overwhelmed with happiness, Sola warmly welcomed her soon-to-be son-in-law, praising him as an exceptional and inspiring young man, and enthusiastically embracing him into their family.

Now, Sola Sobowale has shared an update with her fans, announcing that her daughter’s wedding had taken place, posting pictures of the newlyweds. The beaming mother expressed gratitude to God, confirming the union is now officially sealed, and extended warm congratulations to the happy couple.

This year’s celebrity wedding tally continues to grow, with Sola Sobowale’s daughter’s nuptials joining the list. Kicking off the month, former Big Brother Naija contestant Sir Dee tied the knot with his partner in a grand ceremony on November 1st, attended by fellow reality stars Tacha, Mike Edwards, Elozonam, Esther, Frodd, and others, who came out to celebrate the union.

Last month, renowned Nigerian music producer and songwriter Rexxie Pondabeat and his fiancée took their relationship to the next level as they held their wedding introduction ceremony.

Adding to the list, Actress Wofai Fada shared snaps from her civil wedding, following her traditional marriage in May in Cross River. She gushed about her love story, calling it her favorite, and hinted that the couple still has one more wedding ceremony to complete their trilogy of celebrations.

Also, Yhemo Lee and Thayour made headlines in August with their lavish traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos, which culminated in an extravagant reception. Videos from the celebration showed Yhemo Lee showering his bride with money as she danced for him, and another heartwarming moment where he affectionately comforted his exhausted wife amidst the festivities.

On Tuesday, June 25th, social media erupted in celebration as Davido tied the knot with his long-time partner, Chioma Adeleke, the mother of his twin children, in a highly anticipated wedding ceremony.

In June, also actress Sharon Ooja exchanged vows with her sweetheart in a glamorous traditional and white wedding extravaganza, drawing high-profile guests like Bisola Aiyeola, Funke Akindele, Mercy Eke, and other celebrities, making it one of the most talked-about society weddings of the season.

In May, actress Biodun Okeowo tied the knot traditionally with her fiancĂ©, and took to Instagram to share an emotional video, revealing her joyous tears as she declared herself “off the market.” She proudly introduced herself and her partner as the new Mr. and Mrs. Olabiyi.

In the same May, singer Paul Okoye (formerly of Psquare) tied the knot with his model girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma, in an intimate traditional wedding ceremony held in her hometown of Igbere, Abia State, where her family performed the customary marriage rites.

In March, former Big Brother Naija contestant Queen held her wedding introduction ceremony in her Akwa Ibom hometown, attended by fellow reality star Nini Singh, among others. This traditional prelude was followed by a civil wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos, where Queen and her fiancé, David, officially sealed their union in the presence of loved ones, friends, and family.

Going back to January, actress Christabel Egbenya officially tied the knot through a court marriage at a customary court, and shared a joyful clip from the ceremony on social media, ecstatically announcing that her union was now legally sealed.

In March, actress Omoni Oboli revealed that her son, Nnamdi, had tied the knot with his foreign fiancée, Marelle, in an intimate winter wedding ceremony. She took to social media to share heartfelt photos from the special day, gushing about the romantic cold winter evening that marked the beginning of their new life together.

Rounding out the year’s celebrity weddings, actor Kunle Remi, who proposed on New Year’s Eve, hosted his traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos, drawing a star-studded guest list. Toyin Abraham, Mofe Duncan, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Bimbo Ademoye, among others, were in attendance for the elegant wedding.
