“There is nothing wrong with IVF, feel free to include it in your testimonies” – Mary Njoku tells Nigerian religious women

Date:

Mary Remmy Njoku, a prominent Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has addressed Nigerian women of faith, emphasizing the significance of considering In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

For those unfamiliar, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a fertility treatment where a woman’s egg is fertilized with a man’s sperm outside the body, in a controlled laboratory setting, rather than through natural conception.

On her Instagram page, Mary Remmy Njoku encouraged women of faith to embrace IVF as a viable solution for infertility, emphasizing that God has gifted humans with the intelligence and wisdom to overcome challenges. She urged them to openly share their IVF experiences as part of their testimonies, allowing God to use their stories to inspire and bless others who may be facing similar struggles.

Mary Remmy Njoku acknowledged that sharing one’s testimony is not obligatory, and cautioned those who feel uncomfortable disclosing their full IVF journey to refrain from sharing, lest they risk misrepresenting their experience and potentially dishonoring God.

“Dear Nigerian religious women!

There is nothing wrong with IVF. God created us with the wisdom to find solutions to our challenges. Feel free to include IVF in your testimonies, so that God can use your story to inspire and bless other families as well.

Testimony is not mandatory!

If you no fit tell us TRUE story, rest Abeg.

Make God no vex for you”.

Mary Remmy Njoku criticized Merit Gold’s advice to wives, in july equating secret family assistance without spousal consent to cheating.

Going on, she also argued against mothers changing their names to match their children’s, unless they can also change their children’s names.

Additionally, Mary emphasized the importance of men treating their wives with respect, as a gentle mother cannot raise strong children.

She also encouraged African women to stop being petty and gossipy, instead supporting each other to promote growth and empowerment, and to stop feeding into rumors that ruin relationships.
