Three suspected hoodlums caught harvesting beniseed from farm

Suspected hoodlums have been arrested for harvesting beniseed without the owner’s consent.

This incident happened in Dafa community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT where three people were caught in the act.

Shuaibu Musa, one of the residents in Dafa stated that the incident happened on Sunday around 3:23am.

He further explained that they caught the three hoodlums harvesting beniseed in the farm that belongs to Dangana Isaac at an odd hour.

He said, ‘’The owner of the farm didn’t go to farm on Sundays and the hoodlums took advantage of that but some farmers, who were on their way to their farms, saw them and apprehended them.”

Later on, the hoodlums caught were taken to the community’s primary school football field where the youths of the community beat them up before handing them over to the vigilantes.

One of the vigilante confirmed that the hoodlums have been handed over to the security personnel.
