President Bola Tinubu has provided reassurance to the citizens of Nigeria, affirming that his government is actively introducing a variety of strategies aimed at mitigating the prevailing high cost of living.
While addressing the nation in his Independence Day broadcast, the president emphasized that his administration is aware of the most pressing issues affecting the nation.
President Tinubu emphasized that although this issue is a global one, his government remains steadfast in its efforts to alleviate the high cost of living, particularly regarding food expenses.
He stated, “The central concern of our people today is the high cost of living, especially food costs.
“This concern is shared by many around the globe as prices and the cost of living continue to rise worldwide.”
President Tinubu assured the Nigerians saying, “Fellow Nigerians, be assured that we are implementing many measures to reduce the cost of living here at home.”
