Transcorp Power Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Ezeafulukwe as a non-executive director, following approval from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in accordance with the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.
Ezeafulukwe brings a wealth of experience and leadership expertise to the company, with over 20 years of executive management experience across multiple sectors, including power, oil and gas, financial services, legal services, and corporate governance. He currently serves as the Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Energy Limited and has held various leadership positions, including Managing Director/CEO of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc and Transcorp Power Limited (now Transcorp Power Plc).
Ezeafulukwe’s academic credentials are impressive, with an LL.B degree from the University of Lagos, a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from the University of Lagos. He also holds a second LL.M in Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston, Texas, and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
A respected member of several professional bodies, Ezeafulukwe belongs to the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), and is a past member of the Executive Council of the Association of Power Generation Companies (APGC). His expertise and leadership will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of Transcorp Power Plc.
