Charly Boy expressed his distress over the deteriorating state of Nigeria’s economy, emphasizing that the country is in dire need.

Sharing his thoughts on X, the entertainer highlighted the prevalent issue of hunger within the nation.

Charly Boy said: “Dear Odumeje, We Nigerians have humbly come to you – please can you stop the nation from burning, fire is catching, the economy is plummeting.

We ask for your power in this desperate time of need.

This is happening as President Bola Tinubu introduced strategies to address the issue of food shortage in the nation.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, announced that the Federal Government will implement a 150-Day Duty-Free Import Window for essential food items.

During this time, the government will reduce taxes and import duties on Wheat, Maize, Husked Brown Rice, and Cowpeas.
