‘We are losing our space to bloggers and activists’ – Sydney Talker slams Very Dark Man

Date:

Famous Nigerian content creator Sydney Talker has slammed self-proclaimed activist Very Dark Black Man and others, cautioning content creators against losing their presence in the industry.

In a detailed message on his Instagram story, Talker advised aspiring content creators to assert their dominance in the social media space, particularly on Instagram.

He observed that bloggers and activists have already begun to dominate this space, with VDM being one of Nigeria’s most prominent activists.

Talker also said that experienced skit makers are gradually transitioning into other areas of their careers, such as filmmaking and music.

He encouraged younger content creators to step up and remain relevant in the industry.

Additionally, Talker urged established content creators to continue exploring the field of content creation in order to make room for the emerging talented individuals.

“Content creators wake up!!!

Especially the new ones or the aspiring ones. The content creation industry is dying! We need the new ones or the aspiring ones to do more because this content creation industry is in your hands now!

The old ones have tried. Most of us are now into making movies, music or other businesses because we are trying to bag bigger things. Please don’t blame us. When you get here you’ll understand. But for now y’all new and aspiring creators NEED TO DO MORE!!!

The content creation industry is losing relevance because the new and aspiring ones ain’t gaining relevance. Y’all need to wake up young lads. First y’all need to understand that this social media space blongs to us. We need to own it. We are losing our space (Instagram) to bloggers and activitst. Come on guys! Y’all need to step up.”
