Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has made a heartfelt plea to the owners of fueling stations, urging them to take a specific action or address a particular concern.
Adeniyi Johnson took to Instagram to humbly request that fuel station owners, who are currently thriving financially, do the public a favor by ensuring their meters are accurate. He expressed frustration that despite already high fuel prices, some stations are still cheating customers by shortchanging them.
“Dear filling station owners. We know it’s your time and season but at least do us a favor!!!
Let your meters be correct.
We can’t be buying fuel at this price, and you people are still robbing us!!”.
Actress Destiny Etiko joined the chorus of celebrities lamenting the surge in fuel prices, questioning the state of the country and expressing disappointment that the recent protests didn’t seem to alleviate the economic struggles.
She wondered if the protests had any positive impact, as the fuel price hike has added to the nation’s economic woes.

Earlier, in June, Paulo Okoye praised Nigerians for their remarkable patience and resilience in the face of adversity, noting that despite the country’s challenges, citizens continue to face each day with hope and determination. He, however, criticized the government for exploiting this patience.
