“Women are less corrupt than men” – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has stated that women are less corrupt than men.

While speaking in an interview on Honest Bunch Podcast, he noted that women can handle their positions well with some level of integrity when assigned into an office unlike men.

He emphasized that women are multitaskers who would ensure that the job given to them are done. He further illustrated using the women that worked in his cabinet during his tenure.

He said, “Women are less corrupt, they are, I can tell you that. They are not as corrupt as men and because they have families, they are determined to see things work.

“People know that when I was governor, my chief of staff was a woman, my commissioner for education was a woman and my commissioner for planning.”

He further noted that excessive time is spent in religious gatherings such as church vigils and other church programs. He urged the people to spend more time in activities that would make the country productive.
