Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, was at Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court for a court proceeding to request for bail on Tuesday, December 10.
Recall that Yahaya Bello was charged for money laundering and embezzlement of funds from the purse of Kogi State government. This was recorded during his tenure as the governor of Kogi State.
In a post on X, pictures showed Yahaya Bello wearing white caftan and Hausa cap in the court room.
Before the commencement of the request for bail, he was seen exchanging greetings with the lawyers present in the court proceeding.
Also, in the court, he was surrounded by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
