Nigeria’s popular international pop singer Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has responded to those who have been slamming him by comparing him to singers Tems and Ayra Starr.
Recently, Wizkid, who was in a good mood, interacted with his fans by asking and answering questions and engaging in banter.
During the conversation, he stated how his fans, known as Wizkid FC, are like a cult and joked about starting a church.
He also revealed that his upcoming album, titled Morayo after his late mother, will be released soon.
However, a troll joined the conversation and tweeted that Ayra Starr and Tems are better than Wizkid, implying that they have achieved more than him, Burna Boy, and Fela, as claimed by Odumodublvck.
The troll said; “So Ayra Starr and Tems are better than you. I’m glad you used your moth to say odumodu is not lying”.
Wizkid retaliated by blasting the troll’s upbringing, suggesting that they were not raised by a caring and respectable woman. He also said that Ayra Starr and Tems are amazing.
He said: “I see u weren’t raised by a good woman and love at home. Ayra star and Tems are amazing.”
Remember that it was previously reported on how Wizkid caused chaos on the X app by indirectly insulting Don Jazzy through his artist Ladipoe.
Ladipoe had used the X-Platform to mock Wizkid’s controversial statement about hip-hop being dead, and a fan of Wizkid brought this to his attention.
In response, Wizkid took a jab at Don Jazzy and revealed that he was never talking to anyone signed to an influencer, implying that Don Jazzy, as a record label manager, was an influencer.
As a result, the music executive unfollowed Wizkid on social media.
Following this incident, internet users discovered a tweet from Don Jazzy in 2020 where he declared himself an influencer.
In the resurfaced tweet, the founder of Mavins sent a message to Air Hostesses, encouraging them to become social media influencers. He also revealed that he had become a full-time influencer himself.
Don Jazzy stated that he would seek training from social media influencers and content creators such as Mr Macaroni, Taaoma, and Lasisi.
